STRATEGY MORNING, JUNE 2018
The fourth Strategy Morning, organized by the Center for Strategy and Competitiveness of the FHWien der WKW, took place on Monday, June 25, 2018. Gregor Posch, who is working for the Vienna Business Agency in the area of start-up services, reported on the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Vienna and its significance for regional economic development. Vienna is regarded as a dynamic, fast-growing ecosystem for start-ups, especially in the fields of information and communication technology, smart city and urban technologies, life sciences and creative industries. The role of the Vienna Business Agency is to sustainably develop Vienna as a business location and to strengthen it in international competition. This is achieved with monetary subsidies and a comprehensive range of services and advice. |
STRATEGY MORNING, MAY 2018
The topic of the third Strategy Morning – organized by the Center for Strategy and Competitiveness of the FHWien der WKW – was about Smart City Vienna, a local response to global challenges. Mag. Dominic Weiss, Head of the Smart City Agency, presented the overall objectives of the Smart City Vienna framework strategy. In this context, he emphasized the role of innovations necessary to offer the best quality of life with the greatest possible conservation of resources to all citizens in Vienna.
