Best Paper Award of MED Division at AOM 2018 in Chicago 10. August 2018
Ann-Christine Schulz and her coauthor Kerstin Fehre (Vlerick Business School) won the MED Division Best Paper Award in Graduate Management Education at the Academy of Management in Chicago for their paper on MBA programs in Germany.

Brown Bag Lunch Meeting 15. May 2018
The second event of the new Brown Bag seminar series "Brown Bag Lunch Meetings" took place on May, 15th. Uta Russmann talked about tax-financed government communication and public relations work. The topic was "Steuerfinanzierte Regierungskommunikation und staatliche Öffentlichkeitsarbeit: Eine Analyse der Facebook-Seiten der österreichischen BundesministerInnen der Regierung Kern und der Regierung Kurz.“
With sandwiches and fruit brought along, the implications of the lecture for research, teaching and business practice were discussed.

Our partner institution the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness based at Liuc-Università Cattaneo invited Dr. Christopher Kronenberg, Competence Center for Strategy and Competitiveness, FHWien der WKW to extend the collaboration between our two institutions. In this context, Dr. Christopher Kronenberg became Visiting Professor at LIUC.

In another paper with Kerstin Fehre (KIT, Germany) Ann-Christine Schulz will talk about the diffusion process of MBA programs. Christopher Kronenberg will present a paper on „Smart Cities“ together with Pablo Collazzon (WU Vienna).
