Research projects are primarily empirical with a quantitative focus and oriented towards the international scientific community. Outcomes of research projects are presented regularly at international scientific conferences and published in peer-reviewed management Journals.
Teaching Applicable Knowledge

Emphasis is placed on practical orientation and the applicability of knowledge through case study work, involvement of business practitioners in courses as well as business cooperations.
Transferring Management Knowledge into Practice
The center is an interface between academic research and business practice. Research projects are conducted in collaboration with different partners such as private companies and (non-) governmental institutions. Our findings are distributed to interested business practitioners, and the public via various channels.
Being (Inter)nationally Connected
The center aims to establish itself as a nationally and internationally recognized academic institution closely collaborating with researchers from business schools in Austria and around the globe. In addition, members of the center are active participants in major academic conferences and communities and seek to exchange ideas with various stakeholders of FHWien der WKW.
