The research, teaching and transfer activities of the FHWien der WKW’s Competence Center for Corporate Governance and Business Ethics (CCGBE) and the Competence Center for Strategy and Competitiveness (CCSC) have been combined and strengthened in the Institute for Business Ethics and Sustainable Strategy (IBES).
The IBES is the research institute of the FHWien of WKW in the areas of "Business Ethics", "Sustainability Management" and "Strategy". For information on the broad activities of the IBES, please visit our new website at ibes.fh-wien.ac.at.
The website www.ccgbe.at and www.fhw-csc.at will no longer be updated from May 2020.

Clemens Löffler recently published an article in the prestigious journal „Management Accounting Research“ on the topic of international transfer pricing.
The OECD established its international transfer pricing guidelines to prevent tax avoidance. However, these guidelines constitute an intervention in a multinational's internal control system as transfer prices also enable coordination in divisionalized firms. The paper finds that the inherent trade-off of tax avoidance and coordination can be alleviated by further divisionalizing the multinational and implementing an appropriate domestic transfer pricing scheme. |
